Car Rental By CountryCar Rental By Country/CityIf you’re looking to find a car rental for your next trip, across the county or around the world, you’ll need to first figure out a few things. Renting a car has become easier and easier as time’s advanced our understanding of what the civilized nation is and homogenized our laws. I was surprised to see how many other countries, Japan, Australia, Mexico; all have a strict “Passenger and Driver in seatbelt” law. That’s interesting but it can also be somewhat counter productive as we all try and establish our own cultural identity. There is plenty of that actually, but let’s see about renting your car from any one of the various different countries. Looking for discounts while in a foreign place is often difficult. However, it can be the butter on the bread of an already exciting trip; when people can save money and have fun, it makes the fun that much more sweet. Though your merchants are right there to stop talk of that nonsense. People more often than not, particularly in heavily touristy areas, want to reap the maximum amount of tourist dollars from you. Even if you’re there on business, you’re verifiably a ‘non-resident;’ this is a status which can lead to your being taken advantage of. Even if everything is ‘on the expense account’ you don’t want to cost anyone, yourself or your business, too much money, so looking for a cheap rental car is always prudent. The benefits to paying a boiled down rate and booking your flight, hotel, and car rental all together especially pays off when you’re making your first trip to a foreign land or are visiting an area that’s slightly off the beaten path. If you’re not familiar with the people you’re dealing with or the area (or both) booking rates together so you’re already paid up and have got a quoted rate and receipt before hand, is better than the alternatives of reaching your destination and getting jostled for more money than you should be paying or getting there and getting the response “we’re sold out.” Bummer. One of your biggest resources, though, can be right next door; that’s why I like to remind people It’s also really important to know the local laws. Know local customs. Know local flavor. If you’re just rolling into town without any of the knowledge of, what is sacred, for instance, you could be in for a big surprise. Chances are though; someone has already had this experience and has dictated it in excruciating detail for you online. So unless you’re a glutton or just stubborn, you should be able to locate, search, and destroy all possibilities of your making the same mistake twice. If you go in with a clear head, an open mind, and a flexible continence you should be fine for renting your car in another climate or another country.
